Taittinger Demi Sec Champagne
– A seductive sweetness from Reims

Taittinger Demi Sec Champagne is the perfect choice for those seeking an elegant and slightly sweet champagne that pairs beautifully with desserts, festive occasions – or simply when life deserves a little extra flavor. With its unique composition and seductive character, this cuvée offers a tasting experience you won’t soon forget.

What makes Taittinger Demi-Sec special?
Taittinger Demi Sec is composed of over 40 different crus and consists of 40% Chardonnay and 60% Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier – a balanced and characterful blend typically found only in the house’s classic brut editions. After a minimum of three years of aging on the lees, 35 grams of cane sugar per liter are added, giving the champagne its characteristic demi-sec sweetness. This sweetness enhances the wine’s complexity and makes it ideal for desserts, fruit tarts, marzipan cakes, or simply as a refined glass to end a dinner on a sweet note.

Tasting Notes – Sweetness, Finesse, and Elegance
The color is a light golden yellow with fine, persistent bubbles and a rich mousse. The nose opens with delicate notes of honey and ripe fruit, particularly mirabelle plums and elderflower.
On the palate, a lively yet soft acidity appears first, with mandarin and citrus dancing on the tongue, followed by syrupy peach and dried figs. The finish is remarkably smooth, full-bodied, and long – a round and sensual champagne full of charm.

Champagne with History – Maison Taittinger
Maison Taittinger is one of the last major Champagne houses still family-owned. Located in the heart of Reims, Champagne, the house sits atop ancient Gallo-Roman chalk cellars – a UNESCO World Heritage site – and manages a total of 288 hectares of vineyards. Taittinger is renowned for its commitment to quality, precision, and finesse. With over 35 villages represented in their blends and a special focus on the Chardonnay grape, they deliver world-class champagnes – year after year.
