Taittinger Brut Réserve Champagne
– Elegant and Timeless luxury in every glass

Are you looking for world-class champagne that combines finesse, precision, and festive elegance? Then Taittinger Brut Réserve is the perfect choice. This iconic non-vintage champagne is renowned for its exceptional quality, high Chardonnay content, and seductive flavor profile – a true classic in the glass for any special occasion.

Details about Taittinger Brut Réserve
Type: Brut Champagne
Region: Reims, Champagne, France
Grapes: 40% Chardonnay, 60% Pinot Noir & Pinot Meunier
Ageing: Minimum 3 years in chalk cellars
Alcohol: 12%
Serving Temperature: 6–8 °C
Food Pairing: Perfect as an aperitif, with seafood, fish dishes, or as a companion to festive occasions

The high proportion of Chardonnay in the blend – a full 40% – is unusual for non-vintage champagnes and gives the wine its signature freshness, elegance, and aromatic finesse. The rest of the cuvée consists of Pinot Noir, which adds structure and depth, along with a smaller amount of Pinot Meunier that softens the experience with subtle sweetness and roundness.

Tasting Notes – A sensory journey in elegance
Appearance: Taittinger Brut Réserve presents a brilliant golden yellow color with ultra-fine bubbles. The mousse is subtle and persistent – a sign of high quality and extended ageing.
Aroma: An open and inviting nose with notes of ripe fruit and freshly baked brioche. You’ll discover scents of juicy peach, white flowers like hawthorn and acacia, and a touch of vanilla bean.
Taste: Elegant and lively on the palate with a perfect balance between freshness and depth. Fruity notes of pear, citrus, and honey unfold, finishing with a creamy and harmonious aftertaste. Taittinger Brut Réserve boasts remarkable aromatic complexity thanks to a minimum of three years’ ageing in the house’s historic cellars.

A Champagne House with Soul and History
Maison Taittinger is one of the few remaining family-owned champagne houses in Reims – the heart of the Champagne region. With roots dating back to 1734 and an impressive 288-hectare vineyard, Taittinger produces champagne with passion, precision, and uncompromising quality.
The house’s cellars are carved into ancient Gallo-Roman chalk chambers, which are listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is here that the champagne develops its complexity and finesse under ideal conditions.
Every year, without exception, Taittinger produces its Brut Réserve – a true symbol of persistence, craftsmanship, and celebration. Champagne like this is born from passion and shared as a promise of joy and festivity.
