Single Harvest Tawny Port

1994 was a outstanding year in the Douro, producing among the most memorable port wine of the second half of the 20th century. Peter Symington, then Graham´s head winemaker, selected some of the finest wines from Quinta dos Malvedos, which he earmarked for long.term ageing in seasoned oak casks in Graham´s Lodge. Peter´s son, Charles joined the company in 1995 to begin his long apprenticeship in the tasting room, learning from his farther the highly skilled craft of tasting and blending. Charles, witnessed the development of the 1994 wines from the earliest stages of their extended ageing in seasoned wood, and he has selected only the finest casks for this limited edition.
