Domaine de Laplagnol Cuvée Les Vieilles Vignes
– Côtes du Rhône 2023

A powerful and elegant red wine from the heart of the Rhône – experience true French wine magic
Are you looking for a full-bodied and characterful Côtes du Rhône red wine that brings both passion and tradition to the glass? Then Domaine de Laplagnol Cuvée Les Vieilles Vignes 2023 is the perfect choice. This wine is crafted with care and dedication at one of the Rhône Valley’s most authentic, family-owned wineries – idyllically located on the western bank of the Rhône River, near the historic town of Pont-Saint-Esprit.
This vintage is a powerful and generous Côtes du Rhône, made from carefully selected grapes grown on older vines, which produce a smaller yield but a much more concentrated flavor. The wine is made from Grenache, Syrah, and Marselan – three grape varieties that together deliver a rich and complex tasting experience.
With a fermentation period of 4–5 weeks, the wine has time to develop depth and character that can truly be felt on both the nose and the palate.

Tasting Notes:

The bouquet opens with intense aromas of red fruit and ripe berries, accompanied by delicate spices and a hint of black pepper. The palate is rich, full-bodied, and silky smooth, with ripe tannins and a long, lingering finish – making it ideal for gourmet enjoyment.
