Clos des Jacobins today belongs to the absolute elite in the “Grand Cru Classé” classification in Saint-Émilion. The castle is run as a small family business with Thibaut and Magali Decoster in charge. Since 2004, the entire castle and surrounding have 8.5 hectares. vineyards undergone a transformation. The family has made massive investments in the vineyards and in modern production equipment. In the same vein, the basement has been completely renovated. And the effort has already paid off. Clos des Jacobins has in a few years moved right forward in the first line, as one of the leading properties in Saint-Émilion.

Named the best in the classification
At the Asian edition of VinExpo, held in Hong Kong, Clos des Jacobins was named the best in the classification by tasting three vintages from the classification’s castles. The result puts a thick line under the quality of this small excellent slot.
