Antinori Calafuria Rosato 2023
Seductive Rosé Wine from Puglia, Italy

Antinori Calafuria Rosato 2023 is the essence of Southern Italy’s sun and charm
An elegant, fresh, and inviting rosé wine that brings the best of Puglia straight to your glass. This wine is made from 100% Negroamaro grapes sourced from the Tormaresca estate, located on the sun-drenched coast of Salento, where the Adriatic Sea’s breezes meet chalky and clay-rich soils—creating the perfect conditions for world-class wine. This rosé is far from ordinary – it’s the result of passion, dedication, and more than 600 years of winemaking tradition from one of the world’s most renowned wine families: Marchesi Antinori.

The taste of Southern Italy – freshness, finesse, and fruit in perfect harmony
Calafuria Rosato presents a beautiful, pale salmon-pink color in the glass. The aroma is intense and alluring, offering notes of wild strawberries, ripe raspberries, white peaches, and a hint of citrus and floral tones. On the palate, the wine is silky and well-balanced, with a lively acidity that lifts the fruit and delivers a refreshing finish with a mineral edge. The chalk-rich soil adds structure and finesse, while the maritime influence preserves the grapes’ natural freshness. This is a wine that tastes of sunshine, sea air, and Italian joy – perfect as an aperitif, with light pasta dishes, seafood, or simply as a companion on a warm summer evening.

100% Negroamaro – grown with respect for nature and tradition
Antinori Calafuria is not just another rosé – it is an expression of a terroir where climate, soil, and tradition blend seamlessly. The Negroamaro grape, typical of the region, is hand-harvested and vinified gently to highlight its natural fruitiness and aromatic character.

Marchesi Antinori – 26 generations of passion for wine
Behind Calafuria stands Marchesi Antinori, one of the world’s most iconic and historic wine producers. The family has been making wine since 1385 and is today a driving force in Italy’s international wine revolution. Antinori is a member of Primum Familiae Vini, an exclusive association of 12 of the world’s most prestigious family-owned wineries. In the 1970s, Antinori transformed the wine world with the launch of Tignanello – the first Super Tuscan – proving that innovation and tradition can go hand in hand. Today, Antinori is led by Albiera Antinori and her sisters Allegra and Alessia, with their father, Marchese Piero Antinori, serving as honorary president.
